Once your belly is full of chili and bloody's, why not stay a while? On Saturday afternoon RMPBS will be hosting a premiere screening of Roots to Ranches, a new cooking show on PBS hosted by Southern-raised, Denver-based chef Elise Wiggens. Directly following the screening there will be a panel discussion celebrating the influences of ranching, hunting, and foraging in home cuisine and local food culture, including information from La Plata County extension and other community partners on how home cooks can turn their hobbies into cottage-food businesses in the Western Slope.
