La Plata Open Space Conservancy, a leading land conservation organization in Southwest Colorado, will host a discussion on the state of local agriculture and the impact of Coronavirus on producers. Representatives of two major players in Southwest Colorado agriculture, James Ranch and Adobe House Farms, will share how they have adapted their enterprises to changes caused by the pandemic, and what they expect the “new normal” to look like for local agriculture. The event is free and open to all, but in order to comply with regulations and ensure participants’ safety, RSVPs and face coverings are required and attendance will be capped at 25.
