3rd - 5th grade students get an opportunity to expand their art-making experience by working with teaching artist and Education Director, Deena Carney. Every month, classes explore a new medium, artist, culture, or concept. The classes offer fun, non-competitive opportunities to explore new skills and individual expression. Classes are held in the Durango Arts Center Gallery once a week with distanced groups of 10 students max. During the month of November students will be focusing on portrait and perspective drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting and the Great Master of Art - Frida Kahlo.
