Middle and High School students get an opportunity to expand their art-making experience by working with teaching artist and Education Director, Deena Carney.
Every month, classes explore a new medium, artist, culture, or concept. The classes offer fun, non-competitive opportunities to explore new skills and individual expression. Classes are held in the Durango Arts Center Gallery once a week with distanced groups of 10 students max.
During the month of November students will be focusing on drawing, shading, and details of an object up-close, usable clay objects, acrylic painting, and the Great Master of Art - Georgia O'Keefe.
