Dr. Paul DeBell, Fort Lewis College Political Psychologist & Professor, will give this presentation. Will our country continue down the current path of division & violence or can our crisis of governance become a catalyst for improving & reforming our democratic system? Dr. DeBell will situate the past & present of the US's political crisis in comparative perspective & use lessons from the young field of political psychology to start a discussion of what citizens can do to realize the American promise of a democratic republic with liberty & justice for all.
