The Rockies are full of medicinal mushrooms. Some are delicious edibles, while others will break your teeth. Mushrooms have been used for many centuries for acute and tonic effects in the body, and the tradition and science show influence on everything from immunity to heart health to digestion and mood. Learn about some of the most common species you'll encounter here in the Rockies and pick up a bit of mushroom medicine making know-how along the way. A demo on mushroom double extracts will be done and samples will be available for students via no-contact-pickup in Albuquerque.
