DESCRIPTION
The San Juan Basin Archaeological Society invites the public to a Zoom presentation on Wednesday, April 14th at 7:00 pm. After a brief business meeting, Fred Blackburn will present a talk titled "Methodology and Documentation of Historic Names at Aztec Ruins”. This talk will be recorded. Fred, a fourth generation Coloradan, was born inTelluride and graduated from Fort Lewis College in l971, with a BS in Biology. Fred was one of the first two rangers in the Grand Gulch Ranger program in 1974 and assisted in the establishment of the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center. In 1981, he helped establish the White Mesa Institute, an experiential research program sponsored by the College of Eastern Utah.
