Embark on an incredible train journey through the southwest Rocky Mountains. This unforgettable Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad's steam train excursion whisks passengers to and from Cascade Canyon offering magnificent views of the Animas River and Canyon as it climbs through the San Juan Mountains, much of which is inaccessible by any other vehicle. It's a 52 mile roundtrip journey into a winter wonderland with a 60 minute layover at Cascade Canyon just enough time to take a winter walk along the river, take photos or have lunch by the fire in the pavilion.

Departure time is 9:15am and return time is 2:30pm. All trains have a concession car with a variety of snacks and drinks available for purchase.
