Community Connections' Festival of Trees is a free and family-friendly holiday tradition! Event-goers tour an enchanted forest of Christmas trees and wreaths decorated by our generous sponsors, bid on the creative gifts and festive decorations, and vote for their favorite creations - all while supporting Community Connections' mission to help people with disabilities lead healthy and fulfilling lives in Southwest Colorado.
There are two ways to participate this year:
IN PERSON EVENT
The 18th Annual Festival of Trees takes place Noel night weekend, Friday-Sunday, December 3rd - 5th, 2021 from 12 - 5 pm at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Grange Hall in downtown Durango. Come tour this sparkling winter wonderland and get into the spirit of the season!
VIRTUAL EVENT
We are also offering a virtual auction December 3rd - 5th so you can participate from the comfort of your own home! The online event will feature:
* A narrated tour of the dazzling trees and wreaths at the D&SNGRR Grange Hall in Durango and wreaths on Cortez's Main Street.
* A chance to bid on over 60 trees and wreaths, creative gifts and festive decorations.
* Stories from clients, families, staff and sponsors sharing Community Connections' impact helping people with disabilities to lead, healthy meaningful and inclusive lives in our Southwest Colorado communities.
