VFW Post 4031 is proud to sponsor the Durango Veterans Day Parade for the 22nd year. On Veterans Day, we will be putting flags out on Main St in the morning, and taking them down after the Post Open House. The parade will start at 11am sharp, so if you are marching or volunteering that morning, please link up in front of the Palace Hotel no later than 10:30 am.

We are hosting an Open House at the Post immediately following the Parade (noon-2pm). We're having a membership drive so please encourage veterans you know to come to the Open House and consider joining our Post or Auxiliary. The 140th Wing of the Air National Guard will be flying-by Durango with four F16s, but they have not confirmed the time yet.

The parade starts at 11:00 in front of the Palace Hotel. The Post has a signup list for people who do not want to march or ride on a float but want to assist in managing traffic control. After the parade the Post will host an Open House starting at 12:00. There will be a Membership Table at the Open House for renewing your membership or helping other veterans join our Post. Don't miss this important event.
