This is planned as a fun night of identifying agates and jaspers. What the difference is between them and how to tell them apart.

There will be some agates and jaspers from around the West on display. Agates and jasper from the Oregon coast, gem chalcedony from Nevada, agate and jasper from Colorado and New Mexico.

Feel free to bring a show and tell from your collection. If you have a rock and don't know if it is an agate or jasper, bring it and we will attempt to give you an answer.

Sample some homemade chili, there will also be some tequilas to sample. Join in the discussions and hope to see you there.
