Help us kick off summer Silverton season with the annual Free Picnic and community celebration at the Durango Depot. Our volunteer staff will be grilling up hot dogs at this festive community event. Enjoy a complimentary hot dog, chips, cookies and a soda while listening to the Bar D Wranglers who will be performing on the lawn in front of the depot.

Join us in celebration as we begin another season of continuous train operation between Durango and Silverton since 1882. Join in the fun and festivities on Friday, May 6. Silverton summer train season begins May 7.
