In this 3-hour class you will make a 108 bead Mala necklace using an assortment of natural polished stone and wood beads. You will learn an essential tying technique that protects the strand from breakage (the same technique is used with pearls). You will also learn about the spiritual practice of this necklace. Beads are provided, but you may bring a strand you buy at the Gem Show if you prefer.
