Our Festival Orchestra, led by Maestro Guillermo Figueroa and joined by the Durango Choral Society, directed by Linda Mack Berven, and the Caliente Community Choir, directed by Virginia Nickels Hircock, will perform the Great Opera Choruses, including:

GIUSEPPE VERDI: "Va, pensiero"(Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves) from Nabucco, "Vedi! Le fosche notturne spoglie" (Anvil Chorus) from Il Trovatore
RICHARD WAGNER: Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin
SCOTT JOPLIN: Overture to Treemonisha
ALEXANDER BORODIN: Overture and Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor
