Participate in citizen science and explore the wacky world of wildlife that lives all around the Animas River ...at night!

Join Miss Heather and Powerhouse staff scientists for a short lecture inside learning about bats and their importance in the environment. Following that, your group will journey into the night along the Animas River Trail, using bat sonar detectors to identify and observe different bat species along the trail.

All data will be reported back to Bat Conservation International
