VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! It's that time of year - SJMA needs 70 volunteers to help cut, carry, net and haul white firs for SJMA's Christmas Trees for Conservation lot. This fun activity will be taking place along Junction Creek Road.

Why? The Christmas Trees for Conservation provides significant support for our conservation education and stewardship programs! SJMA harvests white firs to assist the San Juan National Forest in wildfire mitigation as the young fir trees act as ladder fuel. We sell the local White Firs along with commercially-grown Balsam firs at the Narrow Gauge parking lot. The Christmas tree lot opens on Friday, November 25. Join us for this historically fun community event!
