One of Durango's most popular running races for over 30 years, the Turkey Trot presented by Animas Surgical Hospital is a holiday tradition for the whole family.

Come burn off some calories and work up an appetite before your big meal!

The Turkey Trot features a 5 mile race and a 1 mile fun run. All of the proceeds go to great local charities.

The course begins near the clocktower on the Fort Lewis College campus. From there, you will go along Rim Drive, then Goeglein Road, then climb the hill up through the Hillcrest neighborhood, then past the reservoir, behind Hillcrest golf course, and back to the finish line at the clocktower. The course measures just shy of 5 miles.
