Songs for a New World is a contemporary musical theatre song cycle by Tony-winning composer Jason Robert Brown (Parade, The Bridges of Madison County, 13). Featuring a wide variety of song styles ranging from gospel to comedic novelty songs, Jason Robert Brown's score displays his compositional prowess and razor-sharp lyrical wit. The cast features members of FLC's new musical theatre major and students from the FLC Music program. The production is fully staged by Michael E. McKelvey with choreography by Suzy DiSanto and music direction by Curtis Reynolds.
