The Procession of the Species Parade kicks off at 10:10 am. Let's meet at the Train Station on Main Ave. and join us as we walk or bike to Buckley Park. Dress as your favorite animal, tree, or fungi!

Once we arrive at Buckley Park, the celebration begins from 11 am to 3 pm. Enjoy music, food, dancing, circus acts, sustainability workshops, and fun for kids. There will be plenty of booths to browse as well.

Help us make this a zero waste event by bringing your own travel mug, takeout container or bowl, and utensils. Some will be available for purchase at the event. Let's celebrate Earth Day Durango together!

Main Street from College to Buckley Park. Gather 10:10am at College and Main, starts at 10:30am. Come as your favorite plant/animal! Or carry your art poster inspired by Earth Day or this year's theme, "Invest in the Planet." (See video below.) Make your costume from stuff around your house or thrift stores.

Participants will enjoy circus acts, booths, music, kids art, and food vendors.

11:00-3:00 Booths including "Trash-to-Treasure" Kids Art + MakerSpace activities.
