The Carnival of the Creatures is a comic, entertaining, and virtuosic portrayal of musical creatures including an owl, a shark, and a unicorn!

Britten's The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra not only introduces the differences between various instruments but is a powerful and sophisticated "theme and variations" work with something for audiences of all ages.
