The La Plata County Fair is pleased to announce that this year's" Friday at the Fair" concert will feature the incomparable Bellamy Brothers. The duo had considerable musical success in the 1970s and 1980s, starting with the release of their crossover hit "Let Your Love Flow" in 1976, a Number One single on the Billboard Hot 100. Since then, they have had twenty #1 hit singles and more than 50 hits overall on the country charts. The brothers hold the record in both the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association Awards (CMA) for the most duo nominations. Numerous GRAMMY nods have also been directed toward the brothers. Some of their easily recognized hits include "If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body, (Would you Hold it Against Me?)," "Dancing Cowboys," You Ain't Just Whistlin' Dixie," "Redneck Girl," "For All The Wrong Reasons," "I Love Her Mind," "Old Hippie", & "Kids of the Baby Boom".
