The Rural Colorado Workshop Series returns with its third year, highlighting StartUp to ScaleUp. In the stunning foothills of southwestern Colorado, second-stage small businesses and other local entrepreneurs will gather to learn how to shift out of their startup phase and into what's next. The Southern Ute Tribe and the University of Colorado Boulder Leeds School of Business Deming Center for Entrepreneurship partner to host this program as an ongoing effort to promote economic development in Ignacio, La Plata County, and the overall region. This year's workshop will be taught by Erick Mueller and Erick Bruno, entrepreneurs and award-winning professors at the Leeds School of Business. The StartUp to ScaleUp course will give existing small businesses and entrepreneurs in all stages the opportunity to examine their businesses, learn growth and marketing strategies, and explore scaleup finance and funding to get their businesses to the next level.
