Beginner Seated Tai Chi class

Tuesdays | 9:30 - 10:30 If you would like to improve your balance and overall health and well-being, this could be the class for you. The regular practice of Tai Chi can improve balance, coordination, flexibility and over all health. In this class 45 minute class, we start in a seated a position and go through a series of movements and gentle breathing exercises. For those able to stand, we then move through a series of gentle standing exercises to increase strength and balance. Standing is not required. The exercises can also be done while sitting. Those using walkers or wheel chairs, and everyone else are welcome to this class.
Instructor Denise Lane is certified to teach Tai Chi and Qigong (Chinese health exercises). She has been teaching Tai Chi and practicing it herself for over three decades.
Classes are free. Donations to the Senior Center are accepted.
