Join us to welcome the Sri Chinmoy Oneness-Home Peace Run, a torch relay that symbolizes humanity's universal aspiration for a more peaceful world. At 11:00 am runners carrying the torch will arrive at the Welcome Center, where Durango Mayor Pro-tem Gilda Yazzie will welcome them. This is a great chance for children (and adults) to be part of an event that spans 160 countries and 1,000 cities. The Peace Run (peacerun.org) was inspired by visionary Sri Chinmoy to give citizens a dynamic way to express their hopes and dreams for a more harmonious world.
