The Durango Creative District presents an artist talk with local artist John Truitt on Friday, June 28th. The artist talk will include wine, small bites, and a "touch tour" of the artwork, as John encourages viewers to interact with the highly textural nature of his abstract expressionist works.

Diagnosed with multiple neurodiversities at 45, Truitt channeled his experiences into founding the On the Spectrum Foundation and now speaks professionally on neurodiversity, specifically 2e (Twice Exceptional) gifted on the Autism Spectrum, while offering life coaching. His abstract paintings, described as "surfing the spectrum," reflect his dynamic journey and serve as a vital creative outlet.
