The Southern Rockies are a diversity hot spot for fungi. From the beautiful to the bizarre, and the edible to the deadly, we have it all.

In the workshop, we'll…
- make and nosh on mushroom pâté
- make mushroom spore prints (important for identifying species and fun to do)
- stain mushroom spores with a dye and check them out under a microscope (you'll get a digital copy of your spore pictures to show off to family and friends)
- go through additional life-saving steps in mushroom identification
- meet local wild mushrooms on display
- nerd out on medicinal mushroom basics

There will be a free mushroom identification walk the following day for workshop attendees.
