New poets and experienced poets welcomed! Please submit one original poem written by you. The poem should have a title and should not exceed 5 minutes in length when read aloud. We are accepting the first 100 submissions. The poems will be evaluated by our judges and the top 25 poems will then be selected to be read by their authors on November 9th at 7pm at the DAC.

YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THE LIVE CONTEST ON NOVEMBER 9TH. Winners of Honorable Mention and 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prizes receive a plaque and a Gift. The winners will be announced that evening. Sponsored by the Durango Arts Center & The Art Guild of Create.

1) Submit your poem by Oct 15th!
2) We will notify you of your status via email by October 30th.
3) If chosen, you will read your poem for judges on November 9th, 7pm at the DAC.
4) Be sure to invite your friends and fellow poets!
