Reed Library and the FLC Art Department welcomes artist Tia Paquin and her exhibition Sisters' Canvas by Tia Paquin

Tia is a studio artist who has had her work shown in multiple art shows at Fort Lewis College. Her work explores her imagination, experiences and emotions through her artwork. Using mixed media techniques, she creates various pieces of fantasy, whimsical images of macabre and detailed images that illustrate her inner self-expression.

In this body of work, joined with her own art pieces, she includes her older sister's artwork, who inspired her to pursue art. Displaying her sister's work for the first time, together they show two unique art styles with bold lines, bright colors and detailed compositions. Each piece inviting the viewer to take a peek into both their unique outlook on the world.
