DESCRIPTION
Music in the Mountains returns this summer for its 39th season! One of the longest-running classical music festivals in Southwest Colorado, Music in the Mountains welcomes world-class musicians from around the country for four weeks of spectacular performances throughout the region.

This year, a new era of the longtime festival begins as new Artistic Director, world-renowned violinist Vadim Gluzman, and our 2025 Jill Ward Conductor-in-Residence, Daniel Raiskin, lead the Music in the Mountains Festival Orchestra as they're joined by an incredible line-up of visiting soloists.

From July 10th through August 3rd, 2025, enjoy a myriad of performances at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College, as well as numerous gorgeous venues around the region. Experience musicians of the highest caliber brought to you from all over the world, and enjoy everything from full orchestra performances to intimate chamber concerts to pops performances to a family-friendly dinner and concert!

Plus, Music in the Mountains will once again be putting on a free community concert series featuring concerts on their custom-built mobile stage! These free mobile stage concerts are a highlight of our summer Festival, so be sure to grab your friends and family, pack a picnic, and enjoy exceptional classical music in one of many parks around the area.
