With San Juan Basin Archaeological Society

Join us for a foray into the world of archaeology! The program will cover the science of archaeology- what it is and what it is not (e.g. Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones), and the presentation will also include information on local publicly accessible sites. Plus, there will be a demo of paleo technology outside (twine making, projectile points, atlatls, fire starting, etc).

This program is part of History Live!, a series of events celebrating the humanities in September in Southwest Colorado.
