Master Certified Life Coach and published author Brooke Heller is proud to announce her upcoming all-inclusive autumn writing retreat in the breathtaking mountains of Durango, Colorado. The retreat is designed to help aspiring writers connect and awaken their creativity, finally placing their stories on the page.

Brooke’s journey into coaching began with a profound personal loss. Her mother, a hard worker and passionate storyteller, had dreams of retirement so she could have time to write her stories down. Just three weeks after retirement, she was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away three weeks after her diagnosis.

While in the hospital with her mom during her final days, Brooke recalls, "She was laying in her hospital bed and in a heartfelt moment said to me, 'I'm going to die with my stories still inside of me.' This shook me, and helped me realize - there is no time to wait! For anything! That moment changed everything for me." Brooke continues, "After she passed, and having already published some books of my own, I knew I wanted to help others get their writing projects going. I yearn to help people stop waiting for the ‘right time’ and start living their dreams now. My mom's death was the greatest gift she ever gave me. The gift of presence and honoring our 'one wild and precious life,' as Mary Oliver says."

During this retreat, Brooke intends to carry forward her mission: to empower others to write the stories they’ve been yearning to write. Brooke says, "Time is precious. Let's play!"

Set against the serene backdrop of the Colorado mountains during the vibrant autumn season, the retreat includes morning "sunlight before screenlight" intention-setting workshops, coaching circles, nourishing meals, daily nature activities, plenty of writing time, and cozy accommodations. Participants will leave the retreat with words on the page and a renewed connection to their purpose and their voice.
