Envisioning a Changing DurangoScape 2026

Fri, March 6, 2026
5:30 PM - 8:00 PM

DESCRIPTION
Speakers consider the challenges facing our urban forest from changing climate conditions and rapid development. Durango is home to over 12,000 trees, a community resource supporting our economy, property values, and quality of life. How do we protect this essential asset? Local experts and arborists consider these issues along with the chief foresters of Fort Collins and Grand Junction, whose innovative ideas may prove adaptable to Durango and our region.
