Dr. Kaleigh Acord, violinist and violist, takes a strong interest in connecting with audiences and fostering collaboration with living composers. Her debut album, 21st-Century American Storytellers, comprises six works for unaccompanied violin written 2000-2019. Two of the six featured pieces were written for her. In July 2025, Kaleigh and cellist Dr. Linda Jennings delivered the world premiere of Nebojsa Macura’s Double Concerto for Violin, Cello, and String Orchestra with a youth orchestra in Chiangrai, Thailand. They reprised the Concerto for its U.S. premiere with Philly Street Strings in Indiana, PA in November 2025
