Celebrate Parks and Recreation Month with the City of Durango at a free community event designed to bring people together through recreation, wellness, and fun.

Join us on the lawn for an open-house style celebration featuring community partner booths, games, food trucks & fun. This event highlights the role parks, trails, open spaces, and recreation programs play in supporting health, connection, and quality of life in Durango.

Enjoy a full afternoon of activities including bounce houses, inflatable axe throwing, live music, face painting, and lawn games like bocce ball, volleyball, and cornhole. Guests can also take advantage of special Recreation Center admission rollback pricing for the day to $2.50 for youth/seniors and $3.50 adults.

The celebration continues into the evening with free roller skating at Chapman Hill from 6–9 PM, making it a full day of community fun for all ages.
