Enjoy Stargazing and the night sky with Durango Parks and Recreation. The Stargazing Program invites participants to spend an evening exploring the universe with a knowledgeable astronomy guide. Using telescopes, binoculars, and a laser-guided sky tour, participants will explore the Moon, identify constellations, planets, and other celestial wonders. We will talk about interesting historical, cultural, and scientific aspects of the night sky. These relaxed, family-friendly programs are perfect for anyone curious about the cosmos and offer a unique opportunity to experience the beauty of our night sky.
