Join the La Plata County Humane Society for a special Community Pet Remembrance Ceremony in honor of National Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day.

Led by Mindy Meiering, LCSW, this meaningful gathering offers a space to honor the beloved pets who have left paw prints on our hearts. Through simple rituals, poetry, music, and shared reflection, we'll come together as a community to remember, celebrate, and find comfort in the enduring bond we share with our animal companions.

The gathering begins at 3:30 p.m., with the ceremony taking place from 4:00–5:00 p.m. on the beautiful grounds behind the shelter in the rear parking/pass-through area in front of our Care Cottage, overlooking the river.
