This workshop will be about the relationships that tassel-eared squirrels have with ponderosa pine forests in the southwestern United States. Sylvester Allred is a biology professor at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff and is a leading expert on the natural history of tassel-eared squirrels. He has written a children's book titled Rascal, the Tassel-Eared Squirrel, published by the Grand Canyon Association and The Natural History of Tassel-Eared Squirrel published by the University of New Mexico Press. Come and spend some time learning about these unique southwestern animals.
