The indigenous dance collective Dancing Earth embodies the unique essence of a distinctive world view. Primal and contemporary, the company’s dances are an elemental language of bone and blood memory in motion, rooted in the spirit and energy of the first peoples and the land. Dance Magazine named Dancing Earth "One of the Top 25 to Watch."
The company’s tour is funded in part by the New England Foundation for the Arts' National Dance Project, with lead funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and additional funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the Community Connections Fund of the MetLife Foundation, and the Boeing Company Charitable Trust.
