The Brothers Wray know hard work, dedication, and determination pay off.

Somewhere between training with the National Outdoor Leadership School, relentless playing in the North Carolina music scene and hiking the Appalachian Trail, Dillon and Jantzen Wray found themselves giving up the comfort and familiarity of home. With instruments in hand, they headed across the country to Southwest Colorado for one reason--music.

Old North State pride themselves as a difficult band to classify into a single genre. Armed with bluegrass instruments, the brothers blend elements of bluegrass, folk, rock and roll and punk rock. Having brought in Chayce on drums, ONS has adopted a rigorous touring schedule, and released "Long Road Home" - the debut studio album. From emotionally roaring ballads to fast-paced, stomping bluegrass/rock, these boys will catch your eyes and ears.

Old North State will be heading into the studio in New Jersey with Ace Enders as the producer in September 2011.
