This FREE all-ages festival celebrates the local apple harvest and over the years has become a highlight of the fall season.

Festival events include:
- Free apple and juice samples
- Apple juice pressing – bring your own container for a discount!
- Kid activities and crafts
- Live local music – from Durango’s own Stillwater Music and Robby Overfield with Stillwater Faculty
- Local food vendors, farmers, and artists
- Educational activities and information from numerous local organizations, including “Backyard Bee Keeping”
- The notorious pie eating contest

Growing Partners is coordinating, and event sponsors include Zia Taqueria, Carver Brewing Company, Chip Peddler, Ore House, Well on Wheels, La Plata Youth Services, Southern Ute Community Action Programs, CSU Extension Office, The Old Fort at Hesperus, Cooking Matters, The Garden Project, Environmental Center at Fort Lewis College
